You Shouldn’t Assume Recruiters Understand Your Current Role

“I keep applying, but I’m not getting interviews.”

Many experienced Cabin Crew tell me this same thing.

Most of the time, the problem isn’t a lack of experience.

It’s that recruiters don’t immediately understand the value behind that experience.

Business Aviation recruiters are not always aviation professionals.

Don’t assume they’ll recognise what “First Class Cabin Crew” or “Galley Operator” really means.

Explain it.

Translate it.

Communicate it clearly.

That isn’t exaggerating your experience.

It’s making sure your experience isn’t underestimated.

👉 If you’re planning a transition into Business Aviation and would like an objective review of your profile, feel free to get in touch. I’d be happy to discuss whether the Core Programme is the right fit for you.
